What is a UVV inspection?

UVV is the abbreviation for accident prevention regulations of the employers’ liability insurance association. The UVV regulations govern the processes for the safe handling of technical working and operating equipment. The accident prevention regulations represent the binding obligations for every company and every insured person with regard to safety and health protection in the workplace. As the operator, you must independently ensure that all working materials used are (e.g. BERKY machines) annually by an expert or a competent person (UVV inspection/inspections according to DGUV) need to be checked.
