The initial situation
The fishing lake Oker was heavily overgrown with aquatic plants. The dense vegetation caused fishing lines to get caught regularly, making fishing significantly more difficult. For users, this primarily meant limited opportunities to use the lake.
Such problems frequently occur in stagnant bodies of water where aquatic plants spread unchecked. Heavy plant growth can not only restrict use but also affect water circulation and, in the long term, contribute to the silting up of the water body.

To remove the weeds, our NEREUS 150 mowing boat was used in combination with the double knife T-cutter.
The operation included:
- Targeted cutting of aquatic plants using the double-blade system
- Efficient operation even in dense vegetation
- Clearance of cut material from the water

The result
Lake is now fully usable again
The recent waterway clearing has significantly improved the fishing lake Oker. Open water areas have been restored for anglers, so fishing lines no longer get tangled in the vegetation, and the lake is now much more accessible overall.
The lake is once again fully accessible and attractive to anglers.
