The contractor from North-Rhine Westphalia has already got two BERKY mowing boats in type 6420. In accordance with customer wishes the new mowing boat is fitted with a joystick control for both the boom and for manoeuvring the mowing boat. Therefore, both hands always remain on the joysticks during use and there is no need for tiresome gripping of the steering wheel. Rounding off the driver comfort is the switch of the drive from foot pedals to hand controls. The weed boat will mainly carry out sludge removal work with a small excavator shovel. Therefore, the pivoting boom has been made so that the area up to 2.00 m beneath the water level can be excavated. |
